Shahr-e Kord County (Persian: شهرستان شهرکرد) is a county in Chaharmahal-o-Bakhtiari Province in Iran. The capital of the county is Shahr-e Kord. At the 2006 census, the county's population (including the portions later split off to form Kiar County) was 362,381, in 91,273 families; excluding those portions, the population was 318,273, in 80,672 families.[1] The county is subdivided into four districts: the Central District, Ben District, Laran District, and Saman District. The county has ten cities: Shahr-e Kord, Ben, Farrokh Shahr, Hafshejan, Kian, Nafech, Saman, Sudjan, Soreshjan, and Taqanak.
