"Shake Your Hips" (sometimes known as "Hip Shake") is a song written and first performed in 1965 by American bluesman, Slim Harpo.[2][3]
The song has been recorded by many artists,[4] including the Rolling Stones on their album Exile on Main St.[5] Other renditions include those by Joan Osborne (from Bring It On Home)[6] and the Legendary Shack Shakers (Cockadoodledon't).[7]
