Shakir Ali Museum or Official Birthplace of Artist Shakir Ali was a family home museum in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan.[1] The museum was inaugurated after the death of famous artist and painter Shakir Ali's death.[2]
History
This museum was initially inaugurated in 1975, in the memory of Shakir Ali, by the National Council of Arts Lahore.[3] All the personal belongings of Shakir Ali and his paintings and drawings are also showcased in a gallery.
Library
One of the state of the art research library too has in this museum.[4] the library containing a wide range of collection of art books. Workshops, Seminars and exhibitions are also held at this museum by National Council of Arts.
