Shankarpalli or Shankerpalli is a mandal in Rangareddi district of Telangana, India.

Geography

Shankerpalli Station is located on the Hyderabad Mumbai Railway line. The station assumes significance due to its proximity to the Defence Ordnance Factory (Medak District) around 5–6 km away where IIT, Hyderabad is located. It is a very beautiful place full of trees and nice climate. It is one of the developing towns. Keeping in mind with close proximity to IT corridor, several modern and spacious gated communities such as Subishi, Reliance etc have come up in Mokila. Greenbelt, good corporate schools and low traffic has been attracting younger IT professionals to this side of Hyderabad.
