Shaun Smith was the manager of the Ra'anana Express in the Israel Baseball League.^[1]

Smith is Australian.^[1] He coaches in Sydney Major League, the highest level of play in Australia, and has coached the Auburn Orioles and New South Wales.^[2] Express player Dane Wigg also played for Smith in Australia.^[3] He was the pitching coach of the 1998, 2005, and 2007 Australian national teams, assistant coach of the 1998 and 1999 teams, and head coach of the 2000 team^[4] and in 2010, after leading his NSW U/18 team to the 2010 AAA National championship, he was added to the coaching staff for the AAA Australian team.^[5][6]

Smith has spent significant time on player development.^[7] He has coached men's, boys, and women's teams.^[7][8]
