Shawkat Ali (novelist)

Shawkat Ali (Bengali: শওকত আলী) (born 12 February 1936) is a major contemporary writer of Bangladesh, and has been contributing to Bengali fiction for the last four decades.[1]
Life
Ali was born in Dinajpur District and was a professor of Bengali literature and language.
