Sheering is a village located in the Epping Forest district of the County of Essex, England. It is located 2.8 miles (5 km) north-east of Harlow and 4.5 miles (7 km) south-west of Bishop's Stortford. With the neighbouring village of Lower Sheering it forms the civil parish of Sheering.
Sheering Village has about 350 households. There is a Church of England primary school and two pubs, The Cock Inn and The Crown, a general store with a post office, a sandwich shop, a hairdresser's, a butcher's shop. St Mary's Church is a Norman building in Church Lane. Also noted as the birthplace of the "rhythm and blues" band PCF.
