Sheikh Maqsood (Arabic: الشيخ مقصود, Kurdish: Şêxmeqsûd), sometimes spelled al-Sheikh Maqsoud, Maqsud or Maksud, is a Kurdish neighborhood in the city of Aleppo, Syria.[1][2]
The neighborhood is controlled by the People's Protection Units (YPG).[3]
