Sheikh Mohiuddin Ahmed a Leader of Patriotic AAM JANATA
Sheikh Mohiuddin Ahmed[1] is a prominent patriotic Leader of Bangladesh. He is the Founder and President of Liberal Party Bangladesh. He is also the member of International Bar Association since 2010. As a journalist he is responsible for the position of Chief Editor of sheikhnews.com.[2] He contested for the office of TD in Irish General Election, 2016[3] from Waterford constituency as Independent candidate. He is the President of Irish National Minority Council.
Sheikh Mohiuddin Ahmed acquired BA (Hon) Legal Studies with Business and MA in International Journalism Studies. He is a Politician by nature, Immigration Consultant by profession and a Journalist and Strategic Analyst by responsibilities.
Sheikh Mohiuddin started his political activities from his school life. His life is endanger in Bangladesh; therefore he is living exile in Europe. He is now the only political leader who is very vocal against Aryan aggression in Bangladesh and the politicians sold the national interest to those aggressors. He believes that the sovereignty of Bangladesh is now demolished and nation need to restore it.
After the formation of the Liberal Party Bangladesh in 1998, Sheikh Mohiuddin Ahmed was a candidate among others in the 2001 parliamentary election in Bangladesh.[4] Standing in the constituency of Barishal with Pirojpur, but he lost. He was also the candidate of Parliamentary Election of 1996 from Dhaka and Pirojpur.
In 2001, Sheikh Mohiuddin Ahmed published his book Vision and mission of a leader: road to freedom, which was published by the Institute of Liberal Democracy. He is regularly writing articles and columns in different newspapers.
In 2004, Sheikh Mohiuddin was arrested by the then-government who tried to kill him by police crossfire but failed. After, he was sent behind the bar. He was saved by the Army Generals at the last moment of execution. His international political friends brought him abroad and settled him in Europe. He became the President of Irish National Minority Council.[5] Also the Director of CENTER FOR RESEARCH & STATEGY-CFRS.
He was born on 23 March 1965 in a village of Perojpur District in Bangladesh.His father Late Alhaj Sheikh Warish Ali was a police officer of British, Pakistan and Bangladesh regime. His mother was Late Haji Sakina Khatun.
