Sheng Kung Hui Tsang Shiu Tim Secondary School (Chinese: 聖公會曾肇添中學) is a school in Hong Kong that was founded in September 1978 by Sheng Kung Hui (Anglican), Diocese of Hong Kong and Macao. Located in Wo Che Estate, Shatin, it is a grammar school subsidized by the Hong Kong Government.

Mission

Based on the Christian faith, we strive to provide our students with a balanced school life that enhances their moral, intellectual, physical, interpersonal, aesthetic and spiritual development. We make every effort to provide a positive learning environment in which students are encouraged to fulfil our school motto - Wisdom, Perseverance, Health and Gregariousness - whereby they can develop into healthy, independent, civic-minded and responsible citizens and leaders of tomorrow.[2]

Students' Union

The school has a Students' Union. It includes the Advisory Committee, the Council, and the Executive Committee.[3]

According to the Constitution, the Ex-co officials of the Executive Committee shall include:

Extra-curricular Activities

There are some extra-curricular activities (ECA) organised by various clubs, societies and other organisations in the school. Some of them are the Scrabble Team, the Computer Club, the English Society and the Geography Society.

The ECA clubs host some activities occasionally, for example, the Scrabble Team holds the Scrabble Introductory Class and Scrabble Regular Training Class every year; the English Society, the Chinese Society and the Putonghua Society hold the Singing Contest every year. Some clubs, such as the Computer Club and the Chinese Debate Society, also produce electronic or print publications regularly.

The Scrabble Team starts holding the TST Scrabble League in school year 2014-2015, making SKHTST one of the only two schools in Hong Kong that has a school Scrabble league.

Examples: Volleyball team, Basketball team, Badminton team, Rope Skipping team, Chinese Society, English Society, Debating Club, Bread Flower Making class, TST Band etc.[5]

Special incidents

The blackout

On 19 November 2012, the school had a blackout. The day became a day-off.
