Sherborne House, Gloucestershire

Sherborne House is a large house in the village of Sherborne, Gloucestershire, England. It is a former country house that has been converted into flats and has been designated by English Heritage as a Grade II* listed building.[1][2]
Sherborne House was an Independent Private Boarding School called Kings School, Sherborne for much of the 1950's and 1960's, having moved to Sherborne from Weston-Super-Mare, Somerset. The Estate and house had belonged to Lord Sherborne who had had to leave England to avoid Death Duties.
At Sherborne House, John G. Bennett founded the International Academy for Continuous Education. Its Fifth Course began in October 1975 and lasted for ten months; it was attended by guitarist Robert Fripp after the dissolution of King Crimson.[3][4]
