Sherine Ahmed Abdel Wahhab Arabic: شيرين أحمد عبد الوهاب known simply as Sherine (Arabic: شيرين), is an Egyptian singer[1] and actress from Egypt, Cairo.
Sherine began her career with the single Ah Ya Leil in 2000, But it was not the first songs where she appeared with the singer Mohamed Mohey in a Duet entitled Enta Habib El Ain Wel Qalb (Arabic: انتا حبيب العين والقلب) this before with Tamer Hosny, and the representative role of cinema with Ahmed Helmy in Mido Mashakel (Arabic: ميدو مشاكل), Free Music to Nasr Mahrous first produced them however as some of the differences between the two is the avoidance of the contract. Shireen married composer and music distributor Mohammad Mustafa and her two daughters from two Mary here, but they are estranged after marriage lasted for 5 years, Arabic
In late October 2014, following a conflict with Egyptian singer Sherif Mounir, which escalated into a legal issue, Sherine was sentenced to six-months in jail and a 500 Egyptian pounds fine (which is equal to around 70 US dollars).[2][3]
She also participated in the programme The Voice, And nicknamed the Queen of feelings, as one of the jury members.
In February 2016 there were reports that she had decided to retire[4] but this was reconsidered a few days later.[1]
