Shih-Ting Hung is a Student Academy Award winning film director.
Background
Hung was born on the island of Pescadores from Taiwan and started painting at age four. She left home-town to pursue fine art study at National Taiwan Normal University in Taipei and soon followed her MFA from the School of Cinema, University of Southern California in Los Angeles, USA.[1] Her first film VIOLA : the Traveling Rooms of a Little Giant, which took 22 months to produce, earned her a Student Academy Award and the cover of the Academy Report.[1][2][3]
Hung continues working globally as a director and joined Ridley Scott Associates (RSA Films Asia) in 2009.[4]
