Lim Shiya (born 26 June 1986[2]) is a Singaporean footballer who plays as a midfielder for Australian W-League team Perth Glory and the Singapore Women's National Team. She made her international debut against Hong Kong at the age of 19 and has played in the Southeast Asian Games (also known as the SEA Games), AFF (Asean Football Federation) Women's Championship and the Pre-Olympics, competing with countries such as Canada, New Zealand and China.[3]

Shiya began playing football at a young age and joined the women's team of Home United FC at 16 before moving on to Arion Women's Football Club in 2005. Dominantly a left-footed player, she is blessed with a blistering pace and often undertakes individual dribbling runs towards goal. A versatile team player with good vision, she is known for her passing ability and is highly technical with the ball. Tactically, Shiya plays a free attacking and occasionally a playmaking role. She is comfortable attacking on either wing or through the centre of the pitch. She is also a regular goal scorer and an accurate set piece taker. [4][5]
