Shots Fired is an upcoming American drama event television series set to be broadcast on Fox in 2016.

Plot

The series is about the situation following a racially charged shooting in a fictional town in North Carolina.^[1]

Production

In March 2016, crews were filming in Kannapolis, North Carolina. They were expected to continue work in the area through July.^[11] Filming took place in Gastonia, North Carolina^[1] and Salisbury, North Carolina in April 2016. The Rowan County courthouse became the Gate County Courthouse, and a real WJZY news van appeared in a scene.^[12]
