Shraddha Arya is an Indian actress who is known for shows like Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki, Tumhari Paakhi and Dream Girl (TV series)[1] on Life OK. She has also done movies like Paathshaala and Nishabd. Shraddha has done a number of major ad campaigns with brands like TVS Scooty, Pears (soap), Johnson & Johnson among many others.
Early life and career
Shraddha hails from Delhi and completed her schooling and college from there. She shifted to Mumbai in 2005 after taking part in India's Best Cinestars Ki Khoj.[2] Post that, she ventured into Bollywood with Ram Gopal Varma's Nishabd. She also starred in the Shahid Kapoor movie Paathshaala. She simultaneously ventured into the Telegu industry and did substantial roles in movies like Godava opposite Vaibhav Reddy, Kothi Muka and Romeo.
In 2011, she decided to start doing television again and bagged the role in Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki. She then bagged the lead role in two other Life OK shows Tumhari Paakhi and Dream Girl (TV series) which got her rave reviews.
She won the Indian Telly Award for Best Actress in a Negative Role for Dream Girl, Best Jodi award at the Zee Gold Awards. 'Hero Of The Month' award by Life Ok and the 'Women Achievers'[3] award in 2016.
