The Shri Shankaracharya College of Engineering and Technology (SSCET) is named after Adi Shankaracharya. The college was established in 1999 to provide undergraduate and postgraduate education in engineering and technology. It is managed by the Shri Gangajali Education Society (Shri Shankaracharya Group of Institutions).

History

In 1999 the yearly enrollment was 240 students and todayit is 720 for BE, 120 for MBA, 120 for MCA and 90 seats for ME and M.Tech courses. Courses of SSCET are accredited by the National Board of accreditation. It is an ISO 9001:2000 certified institute.

The college is situated in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh.

The institute offers bachelor's degree programs, Master's degree programs, Doctoral degree programs in Engineering, Computer Science & Management areas of study .
