Shuko Akune is a film,[1] television[1] and stage actress[2] best known for such films and television series as E/R,[1] Come See the Paradise,[1] Alien Nation,[1] Cruel Intentions 2, G.I. Joe: The Movie,[1] Murphy Brown,[1] and The Steve Harvey Show.[1]
In 1988 Akune won the San Diego Critics Circle Awards for Best Supporting Actress for her performance as a Japanese war bride in Velina Hasu Houston's play[3]Tea.[4]
