Siddharth Luthra

Sidharth Luthra is a senior advocate at Supreme Court of India. In July 2012, he was appointed as the Additional Solicitor General of India at the Supreme Court and continued as such till May 2014.[1] He is the son of K K Luthra who was also an eminent senior. [1][2][3]

Early life and education

Luthra studied sciences in school, followed by a BA in mathematics from Hindu College, Delhi in 1987.[2] He graduated in law in 1990 from LLB Campus Law Centre, Delhi University. He then completed his M Phil in Criminology from Cambridge University.[1][2]

Career

Luthra joined the bar in 1991. He started working at Bhasin & Co and continued there for another year. In 1993, he started working at his father's chamber till 1997 when his father died. He was designated as a senior advocate in 2007. He specialises in criminal law, white collar crime, extradition and technology[1][2]
