Siddhicharan Municipality is a municipality of Okhaldhunga District. This is also the district headquarters. This is named in honour to the famous Nepali poet Siddhicharan Shrestha. This is a new municipality formed merging six village development committees of Okhaldhunga District i.e. Barnalu, Jyamire, Salleri, Andheri, Rumjatar and Okhaldhunga implemented since May 2014.[1][2]
