Siddhipur is a village development committee in Lalitpur District in the Bagmati Zone of central Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 5322 living in 980 individual households.

Siddhipur is a typical Newari community where the spoken language is Newari. The main occupation of the people living in this region is agriculture. Most of the people fully depend on the agriculture for their living. Siddhipur is also famous for sukul which is a kind of hand made mat with the use of locally available material hay.

Location

Siddhipur is located in Lalitpur district of Bagmati zone. It lies to the east of Patan (Mangal Bazar) at the distance of around six kilometers outside of ringroad. It is approximately 3.5 kilometers to the east of Gwarko chowk.
