Bob Thiele was the President of the label until 1959 when it merged with Steve Allen's Hanover Records and they became co-owners. They were married to two of Signature's vocalists - Monica Lewis and Jane Harvey. The label became defunct at the end of 1960 after being purchased earlier in the year by Roulette Records.
