Silver Lake College is a four-year, Catholic liberal arts college located in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, United States, in the Diocese of Green Bay. Founded as an academy in 1885 by the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity, the college achieved four-year college status in 1935 and was then called Holy Family College. The college began admitting laywomen on a regular basis in 1957 and became coeducational in 1969. In 1972 the college became separately incorporated from the Franciscan order, and was renamed Silver Lake College of the Holy Family.

Approximately 1,000 students from 5 states and 2 foreign countries including Japan and Nigeria.

Athletics

Silver Lake College is home to four intercollegiate athletic teams including a Women's Basketball team, both Men's & Women's Cross Country, and new for the 2007/2008 season, Men's Basketball. There are also various recreational sports available to those who are interested in more casual games. These include ping pong, volleyball, a dance team.

Silver Lake College has been a participant in intercollegiate athletics for more than 25 years competing nationally as a member of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA).
