Simplify Recordings is a bass music record label founded in 2009 by Seattle-based electronic music producer and DJ, Aaron Simpson.[1] Simplify Recordings’ genres include glitch hop, dubstep, trap, drum & bass, and other bass music genres.[2][3]

The label has received recognition from electronic music artists in recent years, getting playlist support from Pretty Lights,[4] BT,[5] and DJ Shadow[6] and winning the Symphonic Distribution Awards for the Hardest Working Label in 2011[7] and the Most Forward Thinking Label in 2012.[8] Simplify has had compilation appearances on albums from the Ministry of Sound,[9] and has had releases appear on American television shows, The Ellen DeGeneres Show[10] and So You Think You Can Dance.[11] Several releases have reached #1 on the Beatport dubstep and glitch hop charts.[12][13]

The name of the label is a play off the name of its founder, Aaron Simpson, who has been DJ-ing in the Pacific Northwest and the United States since 2000.[14]
