Sinknesh Ejigu Wolde-Mariam (born 1956) is an Ethiopian politician who served as Minister of Mines in the Cabinet of Ethiopia from 2010 to 2014. She is currently Ethiopian Ambassador to Brazil, Argentina and Chile.[1]

She was born in Ambo west of Addis Ababa and educated at Addis Ababa University (BSc Chemistry, 1980) and the University of East Anglia (MSc Analytical Chemistry, 1988).[2] She is a member of the Oromo Peoples' Democratic Organization and was a member of the House of Peoples' Representatives representing Dendi, Western Shewa, Oromia.
