Cultural references

"Sioux City Sarsaparilla" is the name of a song played by Children of Bodom's Alexi Laiho from the Finnish Guitar Heroes compilation album.

In the film The Big Lebowski, the character of the Stranger (Sam Elliott) asks a bartender, "D'you got a good sarsaparilla?" to which the bartender replies, "Sioux City Sarsaparilla." The Stranger then says, "Yeah, that's a good one."[2]
