Sir John A. Macdonald statue

The Sir John A. Macdonald statue is a bronze sculpture of Sir John A. Macdonald, at the south entrance to Victoria Park, Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.

Sonia de Grandmaison sculpted the statue to commemorate Macdonald's achievements as Canada’s first Prime Minister. It was cast in five pieces by undertaker of Regina using a lost wax technique, and soldered together.

Fund-raising for the statue began in 1891, after Macdonald’s death, but it was not actually fabricated until 1967.
