Sir Syed Colony
Sir Syed Colony (Urdu: سر سید کالونی ) is one of the neighbourhoods of New Karachi Town in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan.[1] It is named after Sir Syed Ahmad Khan the founder of Aligarh Muslim University.
There are several ethnic groups in Sir Syed Colony including Muhajirs, Sindhis, Kashmiris, Seraikis, Pakhtuns, Balochis, Memons, Bohras, Ismailis, etc. Over 99% of the population is Muslim. The population of New Karachi Town is estimated to be nearly one million.
