The Gram panchayat is the local self-government in the Siripuram, headed by a Sarpanch since 1953.

The Sahakara Sangam co-operative body gives financial support to village farmers by providing fertilisers with market best rates as in the form of agriculture loans. This lets farmers save time and energy in procurement.

The Village revenue office (VRO) looks into revenue functionary at the village level to handle the work relating to land and revenue matters and as per statement government hierarchy VRO is led by MRO (Mandal Level).

Education

The Siripuram village has 4 government preliminary schools, 1 missionary school. All the schools have five or more teachers to handle each class separately and provide education for 1st class to 5th class to village children. A few convent schools also provide primary education to village children in English medium.

The Zilla Praza Parishad (ZPP) high school was established in the 1940s, as ZP high school. The land for the school was donated by Veluvolu Chukkaya Garu. Till 1995, it was the only school in the area. Students from surrounding villages like Varagani, Mandapadu, Bandurupalli, Podapadu and Garnepudi used to come to Siripuram for studying. The school has more than 500 students. The school has a tradition of embossing the names of the students with the highest scores on the dashboard. The school has a sports ground and a garden.

The village has a Government Junior College. Siripuram is the only village in this region of the mandal to have a Junior College for post-11th-grade education. Initially, it was located on the first floor of the local high school, but now it has a separate building. Several eminent persons of the village collected funds to establish the separate building. The Junior College offers all branches/courses of intermediate i.e. M.P.C, Bi.P.C, C.EC and H.E.C in Telugu medium. It has modern lab and sports facilities.
