Sisteray are a British four-piece rock band from London, UK. Formed in 2014, the band consists of Niall Rowan (lead vocals/rhythm guitar), Michael Hanrahan (bass/vocals), Daniel Connolly (lead guitar/vocals) and Marco Biagini (drums/vocals).[1]

History

The band formed in Camden, London. Daniel Connolly found an advert on a musicians directory for a singer looking for a band. As a result, he asked Niall Rowan to join him and his brother Ryan for a jamming session. After a few months of rehearsing, writing songs and finding their sound, Daniel Connolly asked former work colleague Michael Hanrahan to join the band on bass.

In 2014 Ryan Connolly departed Sisteray and was replaced on drums by Marco Biagini.

The band released their debut single single No Escape in June 2015, which was recorded and produced at Bark Studios, London by Brian O'Shaunessey (Primal Scream).

The band have confirmed they will be recording with Palma Violets and The Vaccines producer Rory Attwell in August 2015. Their new single, Double A-side A Wise Man Said / Back to Yours is due to be released on 12 February 2016, having already gained radio airplay from BBC Radio 1 and Amazing Radio in late December 2015 and being named This Feeling Big in 2016 Track of the Day in January 2016.[2]
