Site Lange Max is a private domaim, 3 km from the center of Koekelare, Belgium. The domain is located at 3 km from the Käthe Kollwitz Museum in Koekelare, 6 km from the Vladslo German war cemetery and 10 km from Diksmuide (IJzertoren, Dodengang).
The Site
The site is located on an old farmyard and contains a museum, several protected heritage[1] buildings and a remains of the former biggest gun of the world (1917), the 'Lange Max' of Koekelare. An overview:
