Situation Interactive is a full-service advertising agency based in New York City. The company’s wide array of clients span Theatre, Arts & Culture Institutions, Live Events, Sports, Museums, Film & Television, Education, B2B, Technology and Travel & Tourism.[1]
History
Situation Interactive was founded in 2001 by Damian Bazadona.[2]
Honors and Awards
Situation Interactive has been named by Crain’s New York Business as one of the “Best Places to Work” in 2010,[3] 2011[4] and 2012.[5] Other awards Situation Interactive has received include the 2009 “Best In Show” OMMA Award[6] for their Twitter version of the Broadway musical Next to Normal;[7] 2010 “Best In Viral Marketing” OMMA Award;[8] 2010 “Best In Interactive Design” LVIMA Award;[9] 2010 “Best In Entertainment Social Media” IAC Award;[10] and the 2009 “Best in Online Advertising & Marketing” Davey Award.[11] A Google partner agency, Situation collaborates with Google on many digital advertising initiatives, such as the recent YouTube TruView campaign promoting Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella (2013 Broadway production).[12]
Events
As the host of an ongoing event series, Situation has led discussion around storytelling in advertising in partnership with USA Today[13] as well as the connection between happiness and consumer experiences.[14]
