The Siyu Eastern Fort (Chinese: 西嶼東臺; pinyin: Xīyǔ Dōngtái) is a former fort in Wai'an Village, Siyu Township, Penghu, Taiwan.[1]
History
The fort was constructed in the 13th year of Guangxu Emperor reign in 1889 during Qing Dynasty rule of Taiwan. It was constructed to consolidate the coastal area of Penghu.
Architecture
The fort was built in a U-shape structure facing the sea. It was fully constructed by gray building.
