History
Skatterbrane LLC was founded by Rod Kinkade, a lifelong Gibson Les Paul enthusiast, in 2006. They offer several variations of the P.A.F. style humbucking guitar pickup. Skatterbrane enjoys a strong underground following by people seeking vintage blues, classic rock and jazz P.A.F tones. Artists such as Webb Wilder, Udo Pipper (of Guitarre and Bass Magazine), Dom Polito of Classic Albums Live, Elliot Easton, Roger Butterley and Blueskillet[1] feature recordings or performances made with Skatterbrane pickups.
Skatterbrane has been featured in Premier Guitar magazine.[2] It has also been reviewed on Harmony Central.[3] Skatterbrane also makes P-90 (known as Firebranes. SKATTERBRANE now features Fender Telecaster single coil pickups—Broadbranes and mini-humbucker called Windbranes.
