Skin Salveation

Skin Salveation is a company based in Alnwick, Northumberland, which specialises in products which claims it can help in the management of psoriasis, eczema and other skin conditions which will profit from deep moisturising.[1]

The company’s chief researcher is David Waterston BSc. The original recipe was taken from the ingredients which miners in County Durham have used for over twenty years to make soap to soothe skin made painful from their work. It is believed that many of the findings used in the creation of Skin Salveation products were discovered by mining brothers E and A Rutter.

A decision was made by the management team to secure substantial private and institutional funding to complete and test the new products ready for market.

Founded in January 2006, Dermasalve Sciences PLC, an AIM listed company, was created which focused on its core objective of providing effective and pure skincare solutions for dry and sensitive skin types.

Complementary to the existing Skin Salveation skin care program the creams are now used extensively to treat eczema. The complete Dermasalve range of products was developed to include personal hygiene products the unique range of moisturizers that under The EU Cosmetics directive have ’no known sensitisers’

The EU Cosmetics Directive (76/768/EEC) and the UK Cosmetic Products (Safety) Regulations.
