Skogsvågen or Skogsvåg is the administrative centre of Sund municipality in Hordaland county, Norway. The village is located on the eastern coast of the island of Sotra in the northern part of the municipality, just northeast of the village of Hammarsland. The village is the site of Sund senter (a shopping center), Skogsvåg kindergarten, Skogsvåg stadium, Sotra Upper Secondary School, and the Sund og Sundheimen nursing home. The 0.4-square-kilometre (99-acre) village has a population (2013) of 465, giving the village a population density of 1,163 inhabitants per square kilometre (3,010/sq mi).[1]
