Skorogoszcz [skɔˈrɔɡɔʂt͡ʂ] (German Schurgast) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Lewin Brzeski, within Brzeg County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) east of Lewin Brzeski, 20 km (12 mi) south-east of Brzeg, and 19 km (12 mi) north-west of the regional capital Opole.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II).
The village has a population of 1,200.
