Sky and Sand
Sky and Sand is a song by German electronic music producers Paul Kalkbrenner and Fritz Kalkbrenner. It reached number two in the Belgian Ultratop 50.
The song was originally produced as the title song of the German movie Berlin Calling. It was first released on the Berlin Calling movie soundtrack album in October 2008 and in 2009 as a single.
Fedde Le Grand made a Bootleg, that was played first at Sensation Düsseldorf 2010.
The song entered the charts in several European countries, and it was certified gold by the Federation of the Italian Music Industry.[1] In Germany it became the longest running chart hit of all time spending 129 weeks inside the German singles charts.[2][3][4]
In 2011 the song was used in a German TV commercial for electricity supplier RWE.
