Suskunlar (English: Game of Silence[1] [original title]), is a Turkish television drama, broadcast on Show TV in 2012."Suskunlar" tagline is lyrics of Ahmet Kaya "How will you know why i have been in silence?".
It was aired in over 30 countries[2]It's based on the true story of children (Ali Avcı, Metin Subaşı, Levent Hamurcu) who were sentenced in absentia to nine years in prison on the charge of stealing baklava dessert in Gaziantep, 1997 ." [3][4] by Pınar bulut deren (the writer of "Ezel"). Each week, one episode was filmed in 6 days.
Plot
Four young boys are accused of the theft of some Baklava. They are tried in their absence and sentenced to several years in prison.
