Controversy

Slick was arrested for a parole violation of gun possession in late 2007 and released in 2010.[1] He was later in an altercation with Riverdale rapper Waka Flocka Flame; the crews of the two exchanged words, resulting in Waka Flocka Flame receiving a black eye. Several months later both Slick Pulla's crew and Waka Flocka's crew happened to run into each other at the Atlanta recording studio HotBeats Studios - where Slick Pulla confronted Waka Flocka. Waka Flocka avoided physical confrontation by stating that he was "just working." This account is contrary to statements Waka Flocka has since made on national media where he repeatedly alleges wanting to have a physical confrontation with Slick Pulla. [2]
