The Slovenia national men's volleyball team is the national volleyball team from Slovenia, controlled by the Volleyball Federation of Slovenia, which represents the country in international competitions and friendly matches. Slovenia is the current runner-up in European Championship 2015 and is ranked 25th (as of October 2015) in the FIVB world ranking.

History

2015–? Andrea Giani

In March 2015 Italian Andrea Giani was announced new head coach of Slovenian national team.[1]

On 18 September 2015 Slovenia achieved their first medal of European Championship. Slovenian national team lost in the finale with France (0–3) and achieved silver medal of European Championship 2015 in Arena Armeec, Bulgaria. One of the Slovenian players, Tine Urnaut received individual award for the Best Outside Spiker.[2] Because of historic result at this championships, Slovenia improved their position in FIVB world ranking from 39th to 25th place.
