Smadar Rosensweig

Smadar Rosensweig (Smadar Eliach) is a professor of Bible at Yeshiva University's Stern College for Women. Prior to that she served as professor of Judaic studies and history at Touro College.[1]

Smadar Rosensweig received her B.A. from Barnard College and her M.A. ('87) and M.Phil ('89) from Columbia University. She delivers shiurim and lectures extensively throughout the New York metropolitan area and across the country.[2]

She is the daughter of Rabbi Dr. David Eliach and Dr. Yaffa Eliach, renowned Holocaust Scholar and professor emeritus at Brooklyn College. Her husband, Rabbi Dr. Michael Rosensweig, is a Rosh Yeshiva at Yeshiva University.[3]
