The smoke-colored pewee (Contopus fumigatus) is a species of bird in the Tyrannidae family.
It is found in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Peru, and Venezuela. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical moist montane forests, and heavily degraded former forest.
