SmoothVideo Project (SVP) is an application that increases the frame-rate of videos in real-time video via motion interpolation. This typically makes videos look smoother and eliminates jitter. Frame-rates are typically converted from 24 FPS (frames per second) to 60 FPS. The application is not a video player itself, but allows several other video players to playback its output, which is managed with a GUI. The GUI also supports profiles for different frame sizes. SVS uses an Avisynth script together with ffdshow to process the video.[1] SVS also uses OpenCL which enables almost half of the processing to be done on a compatible GPU.[2][3]
