Smuravyevo (also Gdov or Smurav'yevo) is an air base in Pskov Oblast, Russia located 14 km northeast of Gdov. This medium-sized base is located 63 km south of Ivangorod. It was home to 722 BAP (722nd Bomber Aviation Regiment) flying Su-24 aircraft up until at least the 1990s.[1]
