Sylvester "Snake" Marston is a fictional character in the Marvel Comics Universe.

Publication history

Snake Marston first appeared in Machine Man #16 (August 1980), and was created by Tom DeFalco and Steve Ditko.

The character subsequently appeared in Marvel Team-Up #138 (February 1984), Thunderbolts #104 (September 2006), and #107 (December 2006).

Snake Marston appeared as part of the "Enforcers" entry in the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe Deluxe Edition #4.

Fictional character biography

Sylvester Marston was born in Ontario, Canada. He was a member of Baron Brimstone's Satan Squad when they fought Machine Man. He later joined the Enforcers and fought Spider-Man. He was impersonated by the Eel as part of a plot involving Daredevil, Mister Hyde, and the Enforcers.[1]

Much later, he was seen imprisoned in Seagate Prison's supervillain cell block.

Civil War

During the Civil War event, he was captured by Baron Zemo's Thunderbolts and forced to join them or face jail time. With the Thunderbolts army, he went on a mission to Sydney, Australia.

Powers and abilities

Snake Marston has no super human powers; he is however a master contortionist who can hold an opponent helpless by winding himself around them.
