Snappy Sammy Smoot is an American underground comics character created and drawn by Skip Williamson in 1967. The character appeared in his own comic strips in a number of 1960s underground comix.
Characterization
Snappy Sammy Smoot is a counterculture Candide who never loses his innocence.[2]
Adaptation
The character was brought to life in the 1960s by the actor Carl Reiner on the TV show Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In.
