Sochocin [sɔˈxɔt͡ɕin] is a village in Płońsk County, Masovian Voivodeship, in east-central Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Sochocin.[1] It lies approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) north-east of Płońsk and 64 km (40 mi) north-west of Warsaw.
The village has a population of 1,945.
