Sogndalstrand is a harbor village that was part of the former municipality Sogndal, and currently a settlement in the municipality Sokndal in Rogaland county, Norway. The place developed in the 17th century, and received status as ladested from 1798. There has been increasing tourism from the 1990s. The old village buildings and the surrounding landscape were protected by law in 2005.[1]
