Sohana Saba is a Bangladeshi actress who is very popular for her performance in both Big and Small Screens. Sohana Saba is well known for choosing quality over quantity when selecting movie or drama to act. She does not accept any film or drama, if she does not like the story or script. . She has established a successful career in Bangladesh and is the recipient of several awards in both home and abroad,[1] including Meril Prothom Alo Award and Jaipur International Film Festival.[2]
Sohana Saba wants is known for her quality work by which her fans will always remember her. Also a dancer, she analyses the art of dancing and acting as complementary. Sohana Saba has already made a mark on the Dhallywood by delivering outstanding performances in movies like Ayna, Khelaghor - Doll House, Chandragrohon, Priyotomeshu- Love and Repulsion and Brihonnola. Her last film was released few years ago. After a break of more than three years, She get back in the silver screen with a new film Brihonnola which was directed by her husband Murad Parvez.[3]
Early Life And Background
Sohana Saba was born in Dhaka. She started her education in Azimpur Ladis Club Kindergarden. After that she admitted in University Laboratory School and College in 1992 and passed her SSC (Secondary School Certificate) from there in 2002 and also completed HSC (Higher School Certificate) from Dhaka Women’s College in 2004. During her school life, she always participated in cultural events. She also learned dancing for 14 years in BAFA (Bulbul Academy of Fine Arts / Bulbul Lolito Kola Academy) and Chayanot. From her childhood she always dreamt to be an actress. After HSC, she has completed her graduation in Fashion Designing from Shanto Marium University, Dhaka. [4]
